Addison, Texas, enjoys a special event as much — if not more — than most towns. Now that it’s a new year, Addison intends to create new ways for guests to gather safely while still enjoying the town’s engaging events. Starting April 17, Addison will resume its festival schedule, starting with the Addison After Dark: Fiesta Noche, which usually attracts hundreds of persons. Other dates for Addison After Dark include: May 15, June 19, July 17, Aug. 21, Oct. 16 and Nov. 20.
Taste Addison is the first major festival and will take place June 4-5 where attendees will be able to choose from dozens of tasty bites from local restaurants and catch tunes from entertainers include Flo Rida, Hoobastank and Third Eye Blind. The festival will limit capacity at Addison Circle Park to maintain social distancing.
Addison Kaboom Town! will the place July 3 with a dazzling firework show. In addition there will be a carnival, food and drink vendors and live music. The Addison Airport Air Show, which takes place prior to the fireworks, is also expected to return.
The popular Addison Oktoberfest will take place the third weekend of September and will feature fire days of German food, music and dancing.
