It’s great to know that things are opening up again — and opening. Yes, The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel will open next April in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. The property is a former 1950s-era residential property with a mid-century modern design. The boutique hotel will have 217 guest rooms, a pool, 4,000 square feet of meeting and events space and three indoor and outdoor drinking and drinking concepts — a retro supper club, tucked away garden bar and rooftop lounge. The ballroom can accommodate a banquet set for 125, but if you add a dance floor, that number goes down to 75.
In fact, the Kimpton, which is located at 374 East Paces Ferry Rd., is now taking reservations for stays starting April 20 and offering great deals. For instance there is a “20 in ’21” that offers a $20 food and beverage credit and 20 percent off the room rate. There is also a wedding campaign for newly engaged couples or those who needed to reschedule weddings where 20 precent will be taken off the wedding guest room block rates or of the total catering package.
There are also plenty of amenities include morning coffee and tea service, “Forgot It? We’ve got it” program, in-room yoga mats, compliment PUBLIC bicycles, evening social hour and a liberal pet-friendly policy.
