Noah’s Ark debuts at Children World of the Jewish Museum

The Children’s World of the Jewish Museum Berlin is open and one of the new exhibits is a giant Noah’s Ark with 150 animal sculptures of giant snakes, predators, cuddly animals as well as mammoths, unicorns, owls and cockroaches. The focus of the exhibition is to offer playful ways to teach children the values of  different religions and to have respectful interactions.
Inspired by the Jewish concept of Tikkun Olam, the focus is on being respectful of people, animals and nature. Children can climb on the ark, play with the animal sculptures as well as enjoy the educational stations for handicrafts, constructing and trying things out. The museum is across from the Jewish Museum. Admission is free but reservations are required.
